Committed to the preservation and interpretation of the cultural and business developments of Douglas County, WI. DCHS is your first stop when researching historical information for projects or personal purposes such as family trees. In the Telegram Research Room you can examine bound copies of the Superior Telegram from 1890-1980, a full museum and a History Theater events including the annual Living History Walk at Greenwood Cemetery in September. DCHS offers many learning opportunities including History Sundays, trips to area schools and civic clubs throughout the county.
