Railroad Memories Museum, located in the old OMAHA/CNW depot in downtown Spooner, houses a fascinating, extensive collection dedicated to the preservation of railroad memorabilia and the education of the public on the significance of Spooner's railroad heritage and railroading worldwide.

The museum, staffed and run by volunteers, has retired railroaders who act as tour guides, leading visitors through 13 rooms of the old depot filled with railroad bells, whistles, lights, tools, timetables, photos, advertising, art and antiques. Visitors from around the country and around the world have enjoyed this outstanding collection of historic documents, photos, railroad equipment and other memorabilia covering every aspect of railroading. There is also a VCR with videos and a 'G' gauge model running on an elevated track in the main room, with both a steam passenger and a diesel freight. Group tours and special showings by appointment. Handicapped Accessible and Ample Parking.
