In Season: May-October Open Daily: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Mine Tours available at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Admission Rates: Ages 13+: $12, Seniors, 65+: $10, Children 5-12: $6, Children under 5: $3. Family Rate: $37 (up to two adults and two or more dependent children). In season admission includes a guided tour of the underground mine, headframe, train ride (weather permitting), and self-guided tour of exhibit galleries. Off Season: November-April: Closed except for seasonal programs. Visit our website for current events, www.mining.jamison.museum/programs. Off-Season Self-Guided Tour Admission Rates: Adults and Seniors: $5, Children 5-17: $2, Children under 5: Free. Self-guided admission includes the exhibit galleries only. Group tours of the mine are available by appointment only.

The Museums trace the development of lead and zinc mining in the Upper Mississippi Valley using models, dioramas, artifacts and photographs. A guided tour includes a walk down into the 1845 Bevans Lead Mine, a tour of the headframe building and hoist house, and an above-ground outdoor train ride pulled by a 1931 mine locomotive. The Rollo Jamison Collection exhibits include artifacts, stories and music of home, farm and family life and nostalgic local cultural history.
