Flambeau Hills Trail

Located in the Flambeau River State Forest, this 16-mile trail system is the longest in the Price County area. With views of the Flambeau River and a heavily timbered landscape, this trail offers exceptional scenery for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.

In winter this trail varies in difficulty with plenty of easy skiing in the first loop and the west half of the upper loop. Portions of the upper loop and the east-side cutoffs on the lower loop provide greater challenge for advanced and expert skiers. A three-sided shelter with a fire ring is provided as a warming shelter on the west side of the upper loop. Groomed for both classic and skate skiing.
