About High Point Trail
Located at Timm's Hill County Park near Timm’s Hill, Wisconsin’s highest geographical point, these 9 miles of non-motorized trails traverse some of the most hilly terrain in the state. The landscape viewed from the top of the observation tower on Timm’s Hill is one not to be missed. Forests of hardwood and hemlock border the full length of the trail. This is one of the finest trail systems around. It also connects to the National Ice Age Trail and the Rib Lake Ski Area Trails via the Timm's Hill Trail. In the winter the trail is groomed for both classic and skate skiing by the High Point Ski Club with lighted night skiing available for groups by appointment; snowshoeing is allowed on the ungroomed portion of the trail. The vault toilets located at the park are available for use in the winter.
