About Domer-Neff Nature Preserve
Enjoy discovering the wonders of nature found here! This is one of 14 featured Door County Land Trust nature preserves that showcase the scenic beauty and natural diversity that make Door County so special. Nature preserves are open to the public at no charge for hiking, skiing, photography, nature study and other low-impact, non-motorized activities.
This preserve is for the birds! The hiking trail at the Domer-Neff Nature Preserve and Bird Sanctuary winds its way through bucolic old fields and low shrubs that provide true sanctuary for many of the 218 recorded species of birds found on Washington Island.
