About Parnell Tower
The top of this 60-foot wooden observation tower is the highest point of elevation in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. It offers a panoramic view of the forest and surrounding farmland. On a clear day, one can see about 25 miles.
The Parnell Tower Trail begins from the parking lot on County Highway U. This 3.5-mile loop overlaps with a segment of the Ice Age National Trail. The tower is a favorite stop for hikers and backpackers along the trail.
On weekends call 920-533-8322. A state park sticker admission is required, as is a camping reservation for overnight stays.
Pets on designated trails must be on a leash (no longer than 8 feet long).
