International Crane Foundation

Visit the only place on Earth where all 15 crane species can be seen in one location. At the Crane Discovery Center, located at the International Crane Foundation's global headquarters in Baraboo, visitors can see rare and endangered cranes from around the world, explore interactive exhibits, and hike scenic trails through restored tallgrass prairie.

The Crane Discovery Center is open daily from May 1 through October 31. Guided tours are offered at 10 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. on weekends in May, September, and October, and daily in June, July, and August. Each themed tour lasts up to one hour and offers a deeper look at crane conservation, wildlife, and the foundation's global efforts to protect these remarkable birds.
