About Belmont Mound State Park
Belmont Mound State Park, operated by the Belmont Lions Club, offers scenic views from a wooded bluff that rises nearly 400 feet above the Village of Belmont. Part of the Niagara dolomite escarpment, the mound reaches 1,400 feet above sea level. This park is an excellent destination for year-round activities such as hiking, picnicking, and snowshoeing in the winter. Additionally, Wisconsin's First Capitol historic site is located just half a mile away.
