Take the ferry Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day and enjoy a tour of the Pottawatomie Lighthouse (tours 10am-4pm) This primitive Lake Michigan Island boasts stone buildings built by a wealthy inventor who owned the island between 1910 and 1945, house exhibits. Primitive, walk-in camping - no wheeled vehicles.
