About McMiller Cross-Country Ski Trails
Located near the McMiller shooting range these trails are groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter. They are not maintained for hiking in the summer. There are 6 loops of varying ability from the beginner red loop to the expert blue loop. Lengths range from from 1.8KM(1.12mi) to 11.1KM(6.9mi).
There is a 2KM(1.24mi) biathlon loop. Users must have a biathlon safety certification card. A warming shelter with a wood pellet stove, changing facilities and bathrooms are available in the winter.
All skiers 16 years and older are required to have a trail pass in their possession for skiing. All vehicles are required to have a State park sticker. If the booth at McMiller is not staffed you can self-register using cash or check. Stickers and trail passes may also be bought online.
