Monroe Arts Center

Located in the restored 1869 Methodist Church and on the National Register of Historic Places, the Monroe Arts Center offers a year-round lineup of performances by internationally-acclaimed musicians and performers. The new two-level building addition completed in July 2016, includes office space, art galleries, gift shop, classroom space, and glass walkway links into the original building. The Wellington and Muranyi Galleries on the lower level of the new building, and Frehner Gallery in the lower level of the old church, hosts monthly art exhibits of national and internationally-acclaimed visual artists. Both buildings are handicap-accessible.
