Wisconsin Tourism Supper Club Spot Hits 1 Million Views

Travel Wisconsin’s supper club TV spot has hit a high note with online viewers, reaching more than one million views across the Department’s social media channels. The commercial, “This is a Wisconsin Supper Club,” debuted in March and is the first Travel Wisconsin commercial to hit one million online views.

“Research shows that culinary tourism is a top travel motivator, and Wisconsin supper clubs have been serving visitors for more than 100 years,” said Tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett. “From Friday night fish frys to brandy Old Fashioneds, the commercial captures the authentic supper club experience that keeps travelers coming back to Wisconsin year after year.”

The supper club ad pays homage to the long-standing cultural icon and the fun that can be had when dining at each distinctly unique restaurant. It was filmed at the Buckhorn Supper Club located on Lake Koshkonong in Milton. Buckhorn has been serving guests for more than 80 years and is one of more than 250 supper clubs throughout the state.

“This is a Wisconsin Supper Club” ties into Travel Wisconsin’s supper club-themed marketing campaign, which includes radio spots, billboards, truck wraps, print ads, digital and social media, public relations and Travel Wisconsin Supper Club Concession Stands located at Lambeau Field in Green Bay and the Kohl Center in Madison. Travel Wisconsin partnered with the Wade Brothers from RW2 Studios and Wonder Wonder to produce the commercial, which can be viewed here.
