The Sugar River flows gently through the forested riverbanks and rich farmlands of eastern Green County. Enjoy three wildlife areas enroute. Two dams must be portaged on the upper river; the Albany Dam has a stairway, while the Decatur Dam can be by-passed to Brodhead by using the mill race waterway.
