Fort Atkinson has a stunning 18-hole golf course nestled in the rolling hills alongside the beautiful eastern shores of Lake Koshkonong. As the oldest and most historic golf course in Jefferson County, Koshkonong Mounds Country Club is a challenging championship course set amongst historic Native American effigy mounds. It’s likely the only golf course in Wisconsin that contains ancient effigy mounds. The course is especially breathtaking at sunset!

The course also features an elegant clubhouse with a pro shop, restaurant, bar (and a perfected old-fashioned cocktail).  Their banquet hall is also available for wedding and corporate rentals.
