The Lakeshore Path is the ribbon that ties the entire Lakeshore Nature Preserve together—the path either runs through or near all the major areas in the Preserve. Running along the shores of Lake Mendota, this route will take you past the famed University of Wisconsin-Madison Memorial Union and on to the Picnic Point area.
