Heinsight not only offers custom leather and leather alteration and repair, they also offer an eclectic selection of jackets, shearlings, fur accessories, handbags, and more. Founder Cindy Hein started her journey in tailoring, alterations and custom bridal out of her home in the 1980s. After learning how to sew with leather while studying costuming in the theater department at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, she opened Heinsight Custom Leather Boutique in 1997 in Wauwatosa Village.
