Ashland County snowmobile trails are closed, with hopes to open by Jan. 1. Despite below-zero temps, volunteers are clearing brush and trees across 200+ miles. Thank you! Crews continue working; some trails have been panned.

All State-funded Snowmobile and Winter ATV Trails are open except for the following: - Trail 18 and Trail 41 south of Trail 140. Due to warm weather and rain, trails are in poor condition at this time. Please check back for updates due to changing conditions.

Zones 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 of the Calumet snowmobile trails system will close at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17th. Zone 2 remains closed.

The Wild Rivers Trail Bridge of the Amnicon River is Close. There is a marked reroute around the bridge that includes road routes.

Be aware of a rough area on trail 41 just east of Ellen Smith Road in Solon Springs.

Do to the warm weather all Kenosha County Snowmobile Trails are closed. Closing the trails is an attempt to preserve trails for future use. Here's hoping its not in vain ! !

All snowmobile trails in Manitowoc County are closed. Check back as conditions change for updates.

The Mountain Bay Trail will close to all snowmobile traffic effective Sunday, December 21st at Midnight.

Trails that are snowmobile only are still considered CLOSED. Trails that are open to ATV/UTV are open but please tread lightly or suspend riding until clubs can establish a firm base for snowmobiles.

Northern portion of trails are open but in poor riding condition until a stronger base is established. Snowmobiling NOT recommended until we get more snow and groomers get a chance to pack the trails down.

All Sauk County snowmobile trails will close at 6 am on Tuesday, December 16th, due to the warm temperatures heading our way. Check back often for updates as conditions change.

We are getting very close. Please read the trail report. Lakes and trails should be ready and open on Christmas Day; with the exception of LCO and Grindstone they are not safe yet. Check back early next week for more details.

Trail 7 between Spirit Lake and Maple Lake is closed for the season. When visiting downtown businesses please park you sled on the corner of Highway 45 and County Highway A. There is no parking on town roads or parking lots of businesses.

Trail 24 in East Troy is temporarily closed due to standing corn.

Trails still have downed limbs and debris needing to be cleaned up prior to the packing & grooming efforts. Clubs are county staff are working continuously to get trails open for the season.
