Lakes are marked, and flashing beacons are at the entrances and exits of some marked lake trails. Watch out for fallen trees and limbs on the trails. The club is working to clear them. You can help by moving them off the trail. If you see a snow-covered trail sign, please brush it off.

ALL Ashland County Snowmobile trails are OPEN. Trails South of Marengo are in Excellent Condition, Trails North of Marengo in Good Conditiond.

NOTICE: Trails will remain CLOSED until weather & snow conditions improve. Barron County received heavy RAIN on Jan. 6 followed by warm temperatures resulting in deteriorated trail conditions.

Short reroute on Trail 51 near intersection of 31 due to logging in the area. Reroute is signed.

Clark Co. snowmobile trails are partially open. GWR Riders trail east of Cty Hwy M are closed beginning Monday 1/5. Neillsville-Granton Trail Busters will remain closed. Please keep off trails when temps are above freezing.

The Wild Rivers Trail Bridge of the Amnicon River is Close. There is a marked reroute around the bridge that includes road routes.

All Dunn County trails will CLOSE January 5, 2026 at 6pm.

SNO-EAGLES-EAGLE RIVER TRAILS Trail 10/13 aka the Wisconsin River Bridge has been temporarily CLOSED due heavy slush & water. Trail 13S to Three Lakes is still CLOSED

Groomer Operators and Trail Volunteers are still working to get a few trails cleared on the western half of the county (Long Lake and Tipler area) due to ice accumulation and snow. Please use caution while riding in those areas!

The roads have lost the snow pack & ice in most places. Stay near the markers on lakes. Fence lake is still not marked Be cautious stay to the right & 55 at night.

Another busy weekend on the trails but all are in Good to Excellent shape after last nights grooming and a chilly temps. The Frosty Club groomers are out there 6-7 nights a week if conditions allow. Meat Raffle Saturday at Brews Pub and Comedy night at the Gateway Sunday 6 pm.

Due to rapidly deteriorating trail conditions, Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails in Zone 2, Zone 3, and Zone 4 will close effective immediately Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails in Zone 1 will remain open.

Trail F of Zone 2 between intersections #56 and #57 will be closed for the Season.

All snowmobile trails in Manitowoc County are closed. Check back as conditions change for updates.

All Zones in Marathon County are closed as of Tuesday, January 6th. Zones 1, 2 and 3 will monitor trails with plans to reopen this weekend.

Central (Zone 2) has been affected by the recent rain and the rain yet to come! Iron Snow Shoe Club has rendered their trail system TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Ranger City Riders suggest and respectfully request that you refrain from riding until weather conditions improve.

Kumalong Sno-Rider's trails are still CLOSED mainly due to lack of snow! River Road Riders trails are partially open. Stay on trails that are open, trail across Lake Noquebay is not yet marked. Expect early season riding conditions.

All County Snowmobile Trails are Closed.

Snowmobile trails in Price county are in Very Good condition maintaining a 3.5" to 4" base despite the recent warming spell. They have pretty much been cleared of all the low hanging brush/branches. They continue to be groomed on a regular schedule.

The Rock County Snowmobile Trails managed by the Rock County Snowmobile Alliance and the Sundowners Snowmobile Club are CLOSED.

Trails will open Thursday, January 12 at noon in anticipation of snowfall projected. The trail base is solid ice. Ride accordingly.

Trails in Shawano County are CLOSED!

Trails remain closed. Mother nature was teasing the southern half of the state in December and gave us a few days of good riding. Keep doing your snow dance and pray for more snow.

Colder temperatures have returned with a couple inches of new snow overnight. The soft trails were worked with the equipment overnight before the colder weather set in so trails should set up to be in very good conditions.

Tuesday, January 6th at 12 pm- All Trails Closed until further notice due to recent weather.

Trail 7 between Spirit Lake and Maple Lake is closed. When visiting downtown businesses please park you sled on the corner of Highway 45 and County Highway A. There is no parking on town roads or parking lots of businesses. All lakes have been marked. Please stay close to the barrels.

All trails are close with the exception of the Buffalo River State Trail. Please respect private landowners while operating on the trail system.
