Snow Report

Groomer Operators and Trail Volunteers have been diligently working to get the remaining trails cleared on the western half of the county (Long Lake and Tipler area) due to a recent ice storm and heavy snow. Please use caution while riding in those areas!

Snowmobile trails remain open but limit or refrain from use to preserve the trail base.

Due to rapidly deteriorating trail conditions, Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails in Zone 2, Zone 3, and Zone 4 will close effective immediately Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails in Zone 1 will remain open.

Trail F of Zone 2 between intersections #56 and #57 will be closed for the Season.

Central (Zone 2) has been affected by the recent rain and the rain yet to come! Iron Snow Shoe Club has rendered their trail system TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Ranger City Riders suggest and respectfully request that you refrain from riding until weather conditions improve.

Northern (Zone 1) has been affected by the recent rain and the rain yet to come! Near North Club has rendered their trail system TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Dungood Riders, Pemenee River Riders, and Ranger City Riders suggest and respectfully request that you refrain from riding.

Kumalong Sno-Rider's trails are still CLOSED mainly due to lack of snow! River Road Riders trails are partially open. Stay on trails that are open, trail across Lake Noquebay is not yet marked. Expect early season riding conditions.

All trails will remain closed until further notice pending trail conditions.

Trails are CLOSED for skiing until further notice. We are going to start clearing and rolling the trail network on 01-08-26. Hopefully we will be open for next weekend.

Powers Bluff Tubing and Ski hills will be closed on 1/10-1/11 because of poor hill condtions.

Standing Rocks Downhill Ski Area is open the 29th, 30th and 31st from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Regular season hours begin Jan 3rd (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
