Warm up in Eagle River & all of Vilas County.

Slow down in the corners. Snow is soft you could slide into someone real easy.

President's Day Weekend has come and Gone and What a Weekend it was. Keeping up with the heavy traffic and temps in the 40's with bright sunshine was quite a challenge for the grooming team. We were able to groom every night and we heard MANY compliments. Warm and Sunny again today.

After several days of 40's and sun, most trails are in fair to poor shape. Some colder weather and snow is needed to put trails back in some better riding conditions.

Trail 7 between Spirit Lake and Maple Lake is closed. When visiting downtown businesses please park you sled on the corner of Highway 45 and County Highway A. There is no parking on town roads or parking lots of businesses. All lakes have been marked. Please stay close to the barrels.

02.06.26 Groomer Update: Groomed for classic and skate skiing. There are a few spots with pine needles/leaves showing through, but overall the trail is in good shape. Enjoy the snow.
