All snowmobile trails are open and groomed

Price county trails are in EXCELLENT condition with a 4" to 5" base They are being groomed on a regular schedule after a brief pause due to the cold weather. The weather for the upcoming weekend looks great so get out and enjoy the great trials. Ride safe have fun and support our local businesses

Trails are all open. Some trails are pretty thin. Some corners are icy. Some brush is hanging out over the trail. Some trails could be rated excellent while some are fair. North of Hwy 8 tends to hold slightly more snow than south. Ride intelligently.

All Taylor County Trails are open to snowmobiles and ATVs. ATVs are prohibited on snowmobile trails when the air temperature is above 28 degrees F. UTVs are not allowed on any snowmobile trails in Taylor County. Please ride responsibly. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Trail 7 between Spirit Lake and Maple Lake is closed. When visiting downtown businesses please park you sled on the corner of Highway 45 and County Highway A. There is no parking on town roads or parking lots of businesses. All lakes have been marked. Please stay close to the barrels.

Although open, due to poor base trail conditions, the northern most section of the "A" trail is not being groomed this season. The groomed section of the Red Loop can be accessed at the intersection of trail "L" and "K".

The park out-and-back trail on the west side of Hicks Landing Road will no longer be groomed due to the expansion of the county park and ATV trails in the area.

1.21.26 Groomer Update: Groomed today after 2-3 days of light snow. 2-3" accumulation. Skate deck firm and clean. But it did snow lightly on my way back so a dusting on deck. Set classic track track and all looks good.
