Eagle is nestled in the 22,500-acre Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The headquarters and visitor center is here offering trails, exhibits and information about the forest. The forest offers 264 family campsites, swimming, mountain biking, hiking, skiing and the largest wet prairie east of the Mississippi. Eagle is also the home of Old World Wisconsin, a 600-acre “living history museum” that showcases 65 historical buildings in five ethnically themed villages.
