Cooper Living & Learning Center
The Cooper Living and Learning Center (CLLC) is a small residence hall, located at the Pioneer Farm which is approximately 7 miles from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville campus. The CLLC is an air-conditioned building and is available in the summers for housing groups. CLLC has a total of twelve bedrooms with two beds. A total capacity of 24 guests could be accommodated per night. Note: Some rooms can house four people with bunk beds, so a capacity up to 40 could be arranged ahead of time. Each bedroom is furnished with a micro-fridge, dresser, sink, mirror, closet, and desk. Internet connection is available in all bedrooms (needs an Ethernet cable), and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire facility. To check for availability during the summer, contact Conference Services.
The cost is $40 per person, per night, which includes a pillow, towels and bed linens. The kitchen has a stainless-steel island along with two refrigerators, two ovens, a range top, a dishwasher, three sinks and a toaster. Plus, all the utensils, plates, dishes, pots & pans and other supplies. Meals can be prepared by the group residing there, or the services of the University’s Dining or Catering departments can be requested. A washer and dryer are in the building. Outside features a fire pit, sand volleyball court, and a courtyard with patio furniture and a grill for cookouts.
