Over 6 miles of shoreline on Caldron Falls Flowage, 3000 acres of scenic forest, inland lakes and ponds make up the Governor Thompson State Park. Visitors will enjoy 16 miles of hiking trails in the summer or cross-country skiing on 6 miles of groomed trails in the winter months. A 100-site modern campground, boat launch facility on Caldron Falls, picnic area and beach at Woods Lake are open for your summer vacation getaway. Pets are welcome in Wisconsin State Parks but must be on a leash and under control at all times. Certain areas may be off limits to pets. Visit our website for more details.
