Nelson Dewey State Park sits atop a 500-foot bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, offering stunning views and a mix of history and outdoor adventure. One of them is the Stonefield Historic Site, the estate that housed the home of Wisconsin’s first governor, Nelson Dewey.
