About Willow River State Park
Willow River State Park showcases some of northwest Wisconsin’s most scenic landscapes, from the rushing waters of Willow Falls to the dramatic views of the Willow River Gorge. The park’s 2,800 acres offer plenty of ways to explore, with miles of hiking trails, prairie remnants, lakeside picnic areas, campgrounds and a nature center.
Visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling and fishing on Little Falls Lake during warmer months, while winter brings opportunities for snowshoeing, hiking, dog sledding and cross-country skiing on groomed trails. With activities to enjoy in every season, the park is a great spot for outdoor adventure, relaxation and time spent in nature.
