Crystal River Inn & Cottages

Crystal River Inn & Cottages is an 1853 farmstead located in the quaint and historic village of Rural just minutes from Waupaca, Wisconsin and the Chain O’ Lakes. The Inn sits on the banks of the Crystal River with the river peacefully flowing and winding throughout the historic village.

The Inn’s 7 guest rooms have antique furnishings, a view of the river and/or woods, and a nook for reading or visiting. Guest rooms include private baths and most rooms include a fireplace. Two first floor rooms each have a private entrance, a double whirlpool tub and fireplace. Crystal River Cottages are located on a 11.5 acre property with an abundance of wildlife & birds, gardens, walking paths & trails, historic barns and a labyrinth located in the native prairie. 

Breakfast is included for guests staying in cottages.  We welcome children and well behaved dogs ($25 Pet Fee) in our cottages. Complimentary WIFI is available in the cottages.  Kids of all ages will love playing in the Toy Cottage!  Connect with each other by playing an outdoor game, watching a movie, or pick from tons of board games.
