Welcome To The "Driftless" Area. This guest cottage overlooks the beautiful valley of the Lower Wisconsin River near Muscoda and Spring Green, in southwest Wisconsin. Dan and Bonnie Prohaska, Innkeepers, wish to share with you this special place and its amazing surroundings. Spend some time at Sheer Memories on your own terms as a peaceful retreat, a base for touring, a rest stop on your hiking and biking routes, or all of the above.

The guest cottage offers contemporary comforts suitable for up to four adults or a small family. The airy two story structure with spacious rooms soaks up the special light and atmosphere of southwestern Wisconsin. Flower gardens, some original to the settlement, grace Sheer Memories' eleven acres of park like grounds. Hiking paths weave through woods and fields. From inside and outside, you'll see gentle hills rolling to the horizon. You'll hear birds, feel breezes. Here, nature has formed an unforgettable countryside. Bring your bike we have wonderful paved roads and bike trails all around us. You can relax here!
