Nestled in some of the most beautiful country in Wisconsin, Horsehead lake is a glacial formed spring fed lake.  Watters Edge Retreat sits on over 30 acres and almost 700 ft of lake frontage.  Horsehead lake yields many species of fish like bass, northern pike, crappie, blue gills, and perch. This will provide many hours of fun for everyone! From sun up through sun down the lakeland area is breathtaking beyond imagination.  Enjoy the many amenities of the local communities of Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, Eagle River, and Rhinelander, all of which are surrounded by the enchanting beauty of the American Legion's Northern Highlands state forest and the Chequamegon national forest.  Come and discover one of the most beautiful destinations in North America - "the north woods" of Wisconsin.  Modern and updated units, private.  We can accommodate individuals and large groups with multiple unit reservations.  All accommodations offer heat and air conditioning.  Modern kitchens with granite countertops, as well as full appliances including dishwashers.  Additionally, each unit is furnished with tv, dvd player, laundry access, and linens.  Property is on Big Horsehead Lake (365 acres).
