Buckhorn Lodge Retreat

We are located in the heart of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Ride right from your door with ATV/UTV access to the Flambeau Trail System and snowmobile access to Trail 105. Camp C Creek flows through the property where wildlife, including deer, turkeys, rabbits and grouse come to drink as recently captured on a Trail Cam. It is the ideal lodge for nature lovers, seeing varied wildlife, and hunting. Fishing enthusiasts will like the nearby access to the Turtle Flambeau Flowage Springstead Landing just 7 miles east on Hwy 182.

The lodge is newly remodeled with modern conveniences but still has a rustic feel. There is ample space for 12 people including two large bedrooms each with two double beds along with two comfortable queen-sized futons in the great room which has a gas fireplace. plus two full bathrooms (linens provided), a full kitchen, and a sun porch with windows for wildlife watching. A washer and dryer are available for your use at no charge.

If enjoying a campfire is your idea of a perfect ending to your day, you will find a fire pit in the backyard plus there's a grill on the deck. The large parking area can accommodate vehicles as well as trailers. No matter what type of activity you enjoy, whether quiet or adventurous, your stay is sure to be a memorable one.
