Ole & Lena's Place

Less than a mile up the hillside from downtown Bayfield, Wisconsin, there is little to remind one of all the bustle left behind in the "Best Little Town in the Midwest." That is the nice thing about selecting Ole & Lena's Place as your "home away from home" while visiting Bayfield. The setting is hardwood forest sprinkled with stately white pine and spruce. The pace is laid-back Wisconsin North Woods and the sounds you don't hear are called silence. But any time you tire of peaceful quiet, and bears in the back yard, Bayfield is just moments away. The Woodland Suite has a private entrance & bath, queen bed, kitchenette, and sitting area. It's an intimate getaway for two. The Shipmaster room has a nautical theme with a full-sized bed and attached private bath. The Rose Room has Victorian style decorating, a full-sized bed, and shared bath with the Bear Den. The Bear Den is available in addition to the Rose Room for parties of four.
