About Point of View Lake Resort and Glamping Campground
Experience a classic Wisconsin vacation with a unique twist at Coadys' Point of View Lake Resort, located on North Twin Lake near Eagle River. As home to America’s first Living History Museum of Camping, this resort seamlessly blends a traditional Northwoods getaway with an immersive journey through time.
Guests can choose to stay in one of twelve vintage glamping units—including a Prohibition-era tent, a 1960s Airstream, or a retro 1970s trailer—or opt for a classic lakeside cabin complete with historic displays and decade-inspired recipes. While the theme celebrates the past, every accommodation features modern comforts like luxury bedding and hot showers.
Outside, the resort offers a private sandy beach, a roped swimming area, and complimentary kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. On shore, guests can enjoy pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and a central exhibit hall showcasing regional and Ojibwe history. The adventure continues year-round, transforming in winter into a premier basecamp for local snowmobiling and ice fishing. At Coadys' Point of View, you come for the lake, stay for the experience, and leave connected to the history and the great outdoors.
