East Star Lake Campground

East Star Lake Campground, sites 1601-1630, is situated in the central part of the state forest on the southeast corner of Star Lake. The 1,206-acre lake is famous for its excellent fishing and swimming. The campground features two vault toilet buildings, two hand pumps for drinking water, and a large area for water access. There are separate trash and recycling dumpsters near the entrance. The boat landing is next to the main camping loop, which has a vault toilet building, a hand pump for water, and a parking area. Two of the vault toilet buildings are ADA accessible. Located in the Northern Highland State Forest, an entrance fee is required.
