Tamarack Springs Campground

Tamarack Springs Campground is located northwest of Conover along Tamarack Creek and is open May thru October (weather permitting) on a first-come, first-served basis. There are six (6) campsites on the north side of the Creek and three (3) campsites and a day-use picnic area (with grills and tables) on the south side of the Creek. Both tent and trailer camping is available. There are picnic tables and fire rings provided at each campsite and the campground is served by a water pump and vault toilets. There is a campground host (at site #1) and the campground is close to area ATV/UTV trails and fishing. The campground is operated and maintained by the Vilas County Forestry, Recreation and Land Department.
