About Blue Door Inn
This 19th-century stone and brick building has been restored and is available to experience the authentic history of a Mississippi River town. Lodging options range from Suites to full Apartments. All rooms have access to two 65-foot outdoor porches, a patio with a gas grill and fire pit, decks built on the hillside, river views and great gardens, all in a Main Street footprint.
The Inn is located across from the Mississippi River, with great views of the river, eagles overhead and the Alma bluff. Main Street is also Wisconsin State Highway 35 (Wisconsin Great River Road). Alma, Wisconsin, is a 19th-century river town on the Mississippi River and was designated a national historic district in 1982. The Blue Door Inn is one of the oldest buildings in the historic district. Boasting great views of the Mississippi River and the Alma bluff, the town is nestled in between these magnificent views.
