Sportsman Motel & Resort

Plan a getaway you’ll remember for years to come at the lakefront Sportsman’s Motel on the shores of South Turtle Lake. In this beautiful spot in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, you can spend your days boating, fishing, hiking, or skiing, and your evenings taking in incredible sunsets over the water. This local landmark, which has been welcoming guests to the eastern shore of South Turtle Lake since 1956, has been thoughtfully modernized while maintaining its mid-century charm. The lakefront grounds include a dock (with room for three boats), two rowboats, a fish-cleaning station, picnic tables, and a fire pit for guests to share.

Each of the five suites features a beautiful lake view, wood-paneled walls that enhance the Northwoods ambiance, and a compact, vintage-inspired kitchen. A dining table, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV (with streaming capability), and high-speed WiFi are also provided in all suites. There’s even a great coffee shop and a number of local supper clubs nearby to enjoy after a day of outdoor activity.

This home is a combination of The Sawyer, The Hoot-Nanny, The Feller, The Skybird, and The Sougan, all of which can be rented separately.
