Island Cove is a quaint nine unit resort nestled among the northern pine trees. Situated on one of the quieter bays of Lake Minocqua, one has easy access to a chain of lakes. Sit on the patio and enjoy the loons diving and eagles soaring as the sun slowly sets behind the trees. We are easy to find, located just off Highway 51. Yet we offer peaceful views and quiet surroundings not often available at the larger resorts. We offer two charcoal grills and two picnic tables if you prefer to spend your time cooking and eating outdoors. Each unit includes a pier to dock your boat during your stay and two local boat launches are a quick five minute drive down the road. We also have on-site parking to store your boat or snowmobile trailer.

Downtown Minocqua is a pleasant 10 minute stroll to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and night life. Torpy Park is also downtown and offers amenities like a beach, swimming, tennis courts, and a playground. The well-groomed Bearskin trail starts in downtown Minocqua. It is an 18 mile former railroad stretch that has been converted to a hiking, biking, and snowmobile trail.Fall is a beautiful time of year to bask in the splendid foliage from our front lawn! Take a long weekend to hike or bike dozens of trails in the north woods. Our location is ideal for day trips to surrounding towns to enjoy the numerous fall festivals.If winter is your favorite season, we have easy access to ice fishing and to the snowmobile trail right from our front door.
