Musky and Walleye are typical draws for northern Wisconsin fishing, so much so that often the bass get overlooked. But the fishermen in the know appreciate the abundance of smallmouth and largemouth bass in Wisconsin lakes and rivers. The Wisconsin DNR catch and release program at the start of the bass fishing season has given a boost to fish populations and made the Northwoods a dream destination for bass anglers.

The first thing you need to do is find a good bass fishing hole and pair it with a cabin rental. Here are five northern Wisconsin fishing cabin rentals where the bass are biting.

Twin Waters Resort  - St. Germain
