Wisconsin Attractions & Entertainment

Entertainment isn’t in short supply here. If you’re looking for family-friendly fun, visit our many water parks, zoos and amusement parks. For an adults-only getaway, spend a night at the casino or the day at a world-class spa.

Pick one, two or five attractions, and, most importantly, enjoy time well spent with your favorite people.

Kid-Friendly

Make a splash and explore your wild side. There are many kid-friendly attractions in Wisconsin ready for you and your kids to explore.

Take our waterparks, for instance. Many of them are found in the Wisconsin Dells. Spend a day or an entire weekend at a waterpark, some of which feature family-friendly resorts, like the Great Wolf Lodge.

Encounter wild animals on a trip to a zoo, like the Milwaukee County Zoo, home to giraffes, elephants, flamingos, alpacas and much more. From ziplines and playgrounds to interactive exhibits, your kids will thank you for bringing them here.

Over in Green Bay, find everything from kiddie to thrill rides at the Bay Beach Amusement Park. Test your driving skills with a round of bumper cars or see the bay area sights on the Ferris wheel. If you’re feeling extra brave, go for a spin on the wooden roller coaster.

Adult-Friendly

Leave the kids behind (the human and furry kind), and enjoy many of the adult attractions found here, from casinos to world-class spas.

Test your luck at Ho-Chunk Gaming, which has multiple locations in Baraboo, Black River Falls and Madison, among others. Other casinos in Wisconsin include the Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena and the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino in Milwaukee. Each location has plenty of slot machines and gaming tables as well as bars and delicious restaurants.

After a night out, spend the next day at a spa, like The Abbey Resort’s Avani Spa on Lake Geneva. This lakeside sanctuary offers herbal baths and body wraps as well as massages. You’ll feel revived in no time.

Fun for Everyone

For an unforgettable family outing, grab a soda and popcorn and plop down in your car seat at a drive-in movie theater. Places like the Chilton Twilight Drive-In Theater and Wisconsin Dells’ Big Sky Twin Drive-In make going to the movies a unique experience.

Go further back in time and explore our state’s one-of-a-kind lighthouses. Some are open to visitors, like the 1866 Southport Lighthouse, which features daily tours and a museum that’s part of the Kenosha History Center.

For a deeper look into science and technology, check out our state’s many science and nature centers, like Discovery World in Milwaukee, which features an aquarium and science-related games and activities.

Wisconsin is for everyone. No matter your age or interests, there’s an attraction that will get your heart racing and your mind-gears turning.
