About Southport Light Station Museum (Lighthouse)
Tour the restored keeper’s house featuring artifacts, maps, photos, and information about local maritime history, including shipwrecks. Climb 72 steps to the top of the 55-foot tall Southport Lighthouse tower. Built in 1866, this is the third lighthouse tower that existed here. Open May through October. Group tours are welcome by appointment.
