About Woodland Dunes Nature Center & Preserve
Woodland Dunes is a 1500 acre non-profit nature preserve and environmental education center. Featured are 7 miles of hiking trails through forest, shrubland, and grassland habitats, a butterfly garden, a nature-based play area, and interpretive center. There is no charge to use facilities or trails. Hundreds of species of plants and animals make Woodland Dunes their home. In addition there are frequent education-related events for people of all ages.
