Step into a world that took millions of years to build. Cave of the Mounds, a National Natural Landmark, winds through chambers of glittering limestone formations. Tours are along an easy, paved path. Cave of the Mounds is fun for all ages.
Above ground, the adventure keeps going: sift for your own treasures at the Gemstone Mine, wander the Rock, Rain, and Butterfly Gardens, or hike one of our three trails. Picnic areas are available throughout the grounds.
Curious minds will dig the natural history exhibits in the Visitor Center, and no trip is complete without a stop at the Rock & Fossil Gift Shop for a keepsake for your visit underground.
