Paint On Port Mural Program

Explore Port Washington through its vibrant collection of public art. From 2023 to 2025, Port Washington Main Street and the City of Port Washington brought more than 10 murals to the community, adding colorful works of art throughout the historic downtown while paying tribute to the city’s history and character.

One of the collection’s highlights is the Mural Mosaic Global Roots Project America Connects Midwest Mural. Installed in April 2023 on the north wall of Twisted Willow Restaurant at 308 N. Franklin St., the mural depicts the 11 states of the Midwest as part of a global art project that connects people and cultures through art.
