About Anderson Dock
Visit Anderson Dock and experience one of Door County’s most iconic waterfront traditions. Along the shore of Ephraim, a historic dockside warehouse has become a living canvas, covered in painted names and visit dates added by generations of boaters and travelers. Visitors are invited to join in and add their own simple mark, becoming part of a tradition that continues to grow with each season.
Built in 1858, the dock helped establish Ephraim as a welcoming port for early steamship travelers and remains a beloved stop today for its harbor views, history, and one of a kind sense of place. As part of the Anderson Historic District, it reflects the enduring spirit of the village and its waterfront heritage.
