About Mineral Point Historic District
The district contains over 500 structures and was the first in the state placed on the National Register of Historic Places. It contains an array of architectural styles, including Federal, Arts & Crafts, Italianate, Victorian, and Cornish stone cottages built in the 1840s. Many of the buildings have been restored and house antique shops, artisan studios and galleries, Bed and Breakfasts and a variety of specialty shops.
