About Octagon House and the Historic District
Built in 1855, this unique eight-sided house was home to Judge John Shaw Moffat who came to Hudson from New York. The building is now owned by the Hudson Area History Connection and is maintained as a museum complex (including the gardens, garden house, carriage house, and History Shoppe), and furnished with artifacts and antiques from 1850 to 1950 with providence from the St. Croix Valley. Self-guided tours, history chats, historic walking tours, pub crawls, living history days, and Kids Making History events are featured throughout the year.
Guided and private tours are available by appointment. Accessible and accommodated arrangements are welcome and can be made online or by phone.
Adults $15, discounted $12, students $8, family of 4 or more $40.
