About Old Town Hall Museum & Greenfield School
One of the few remaining buildings of its kind, this old town hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now a museum which displays artifacts of Price County's logging era (1879-1930s), railroad memorabilia & other early transportation, farm implements, a model of the Round Lake Logging Dam, Victorian period rooms, old Price County Courthouse furniture, household items, collections of personal & community artifacts, and a changing exhibit room displays various aspects of county history. The building served the community as a government and social center for 75 years. The building itself is a rare example of Victorian governmental architecture. The adjacent one-room Greenfield School serves as a repository for rural school history. The museums are operated by the Price County Historical Society.
