About Osceola Historic District
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the district includes typical commercial buildings with the exception of the Art Modern style gas station (corner of 2nd & Cascade). The oldest extant building is the Geiger Building constructed in 1874. During the late 1800s Osceola was considered the steamboat capital of the St. Croix Valley.
