About Hazelwood Historic House Museum
Hazelwood is Green Bay's only public historic house open to the public that remains on its original site. This Greek Revival style house was constructed in 1837 on a hillside overlooking the Fox River. For 100 years it was the home of three generations of the Morgan L. Martin family. Martin, a successful politician, businessman, lawyer and judge had a career that spanned sixty years. As president of the Second Constitutional Convention, he was instrumental in the formation of Wisconsin statehood. Step back in time to experience life as the Martins lived in the 1890's. Your guided tour takes you through this elegant 10 room home, filled with many original Martin furnishings. Christmas Holiday Open House in December.
